Join us for the first Craft & Sip - Family Edition! We’re celebrating the cross-cultural symbol of rebirth, renewal and reawakening: the egg! Each adult & child (6 yrs and up) team or single adult will learn to use botanicals and flowers harvested from the garden to dye 6 hollow eggs to take home to celebrate the season! An Adventure in celebrating the changing seasons through art and cocktails

Join us to mark the end of the light half of the year and the beginning of the dark with a celebration of the cycles of the natural world. It’s another “Paint and Sip” but this time our artist, Nadine Allan, will guide you through an exploration of the significance of this seasonal transition to our ancestors with a story-telling history lesson about the rituals and art from around the world that marked the end of the harvest, the end of the summer and the earth’s movement from light to dark.

After Nadine inspires you with the lore of the global traditions surrounding this time of year, you’ll be painting and embellishing your own Pagan mask to celebrate! And sipping and savoring while you create…as always! Stay with us afterward for a dance party under the stars and a unique and other-worldly immersive Samhain art installation!

"Learn-by-Doing" - Tomato Basics: How to prune your plant and identify and prevent diseases and pests

Our Learn-By-Doing series includes free mini focussed classes with a ‘hands-on’ lab when you volunteer for 1 hour in the garden. Rotating seasonal topics are offered.

Our second “Learn-by-Doing” event is focussing on tomato basics - how to prune your plant and prevent and identify diseases and pests.

EVENT IS FREE with required time commitment: 30 minutes “how-to” class, 15 minute “hands-on” lab and 1 hour of volunteer time in the garden. You take home 1 tomato plant to add to your own garden at the end of the event.

Covid guidelines strictly followed. Masks must be worn if you are not fully vaccinated (2 weeks post). PLEASE BRING YOUR VACCINATION CARD WITH YOU.

PARTICIPATION IS LIMITED TO 10 PEOPLE.
